新卒で生命保険会社に総合職として就職、リクルート、六本木ヒルズ美容企業など異業種への転職を経験しながら営業・新規事業立ち上げ・人事・経営企画など様々なキャリアを積む。
第一子育休復帰直前にパートナーの海外駐在が決定し、離職してロンドンへ。在英日本人コミュニティの立ち上げと運営に携わりコーチング資格を取得。
本帰国し第二子を出産後、Webメディア『ラシク』編集長の経験を積んだ後、駐在員パートナー専門の人材紹介事業『CAREER MARK』、「世界中・日本中、どこにいても夫婦が共にキャリアを重ねていける社会」を目指す任意団体『Dual Career Anywhere』を立ち上げた。2022年再びロンドンへ。
組織にとらわれずに、一人一人の内発的動機をもとに仲間たちとともに面白いことを仕掛けていく。「個」と「個」が有機的につながって、お互いの強みを活かしながら協働して新しいものを生み出せる。そんな新しい働き方を作り出すために、2024年4月コミュニティカンパニーSemiLatticeを設立。
ワインを飲みながら人生を語り合うのに幸せを感じる。飲むだけでなく、知識をつけたいこの頃。週末、パートナーとともにステーキ＆赤ワインで食卓を共にするのが最近の楽しみ。

ABOUT KAORU
After a diverse career in sales, new business development, HR, and corporate planning across various industries in Japan—including life insurance, Recruit, and a major beauty firm in Roppongi Hills—Kaoru moved to London. This transition, triggered by her partner’s overseas assignment, led her to found a community for Japanese residents in the UK and obtain her professional coaching certification.
Upon returning to Japan, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the web media outlet “LAXIC” before launching CAREER MARK. In April 2024, she established SemiLattice to champion “Community-led Business.” Now based back in London, she continues to bridge the gap between Japan and the global stage.
PERSONAL INTERESTS
Beyond her professional life, Kaoru finds joy in deep conversations over a glass of wine. She is currently deepening her oenological knowledge and cherishes her weekend ritual: enjoying steak and red wine with her partner.
